As the name suggests, the endocannabinoid system is endogenous to the human body and is present in some form in all organs and tissues. In recent years, more and more patients and doctors have renewed interest in medical cannabis therapies. Countries around the world are granting patients access to medical cannabis albeit with very different rules and regulations. In the European Union they are produced in accordance with EU pharmaceutical regulations and standards for herbal drugs.<sup>1<\/sup> These include different cannabis extracts as well as dried cannabis flowers.<sup>2<\/sup><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-advgb-accordion-item advgb-accordion-item ps-0 animated fadeInUp\" style=\"margin-bottom:15px\"><div class=\"advgb-accordion-header\" style=\"background-color:#000;color:#1D9EE0;border-style:solid;border-width:1px;border-radius:2px\"><span class=\"advgb-accordion-header-icon\"><svg fill=\"#1D9EE0\" xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\" width=\"24\" height=\"24\" viewbox=\"0 0 24 24\"><path opacity=\"0.87\" fill=\"none\" d=\"M24,24H0L0,0l24,0V24z\"><\/path><path d=\"M16.59,8.59L12,13.17L7.41,8.59L6,10l6,6l6-6L16.59,8.59z\"><\/path><\/svg><\/span><h3 class=\"advgb-accordion-header-title\" style=\"color:inherit\">_ Cannabinoids<\/h3><\/div><div class=\"advgb-accordion-body\" style=\"border-style:solid !important;border-width:1px !important;border-color:undefined !important;border-top:none !important;border-radius:2px !important\">\n<p style=\"font-size:30px\">Cannabidoids found in the cannabis plant (phytocannabinoids) are a heterogeneous group of substances. In the human body, THC interacts and binds with the receptors in the endocannabinoid system.<br><br>Clinical studies have demonstrated that THC can be effective in treating pain, anxiety, muscle spasms and nausea. Based on this body of empirical evidence, international medical and research experts have derived recommendations for the use of THC in the treatment of a number of illnesses including neuropathic and other forms of pain<sup>3<\/sup> as well as for chemotherapy induced nausea and vomiting, spasticity in conjunction with multiple sclerosis, appetite stimulation and wasting in conjunction with HIV AIDS.<sup>4<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-advgb-accordion-item advgb-accordion-item ps-0 animated fadeInUp\" style=\"margin-bottom:15px\"><div class=\"advgb-accordion-header\" style=\"background-color:#000;color:#1D9EE0;border-style:solid;border-width:1px;border-radius:2px\"><span class=\"advgb-accordion-header-icon\"><svg fill=\"#1D9EE0\" xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\" width=\"24\" height=\"24\" viewbox=\"0 0 24 24\"><path opacity=\"0.87\" fill=\"none\" d=\"M24,24H0L0,0l24,0V24z\"><\/path><path d=\"M16.59,8.59L12,13.17L7.41,8.59L6,10l6,6l6-6L16.59,8.59z\"><\/path><\/svg><\/span><h3 class=\"advgb-accordion-header-title\" style=\"color:inherit\">_ CBD<\/h3><\/div><div class=\"advgb-accordion-body\" style=\"border-style:solid !important;border-width:1px !important;border-color:undefined !important;border-top:none !important;border-radius:2px !important\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"730\" height=\"382\" src=\"https:\/\/avextra.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/Cannabidiol_Structural_formula_V1.svg.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-404\" style=\"width:400px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/avextra.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/Cannabidiol_Structural_formula_V1.svg.png 730w, https:\/\/avextra.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/Cannabidiol_Structural_formula_V1.svg-300x157.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 730px) 100vw, 730px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:30px\">In addition to THC, CBD is the second cannabinoid to have demonstrated a therapeutic effect in clinical studies. In contrast to THC, CBD does not cause a psychoactive effect and binds with low affinity to the endocannabinoids receptors in the human body. CBD is able to modulate the effectiveness of the binding partner in the cannabinoid receptors. When taken in combination with THC, CBD can therefore counteract the psychoactive effect of THC.<br><br>CBD has also been shown to have anti-convulsive and anti-inflammatory properties. It is therefore used to treat refractory forms of epilepsy.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group animated fadeInUp is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<p style=\"font-size:12px;font-style:normal;font-weight:600\">1.
